This chemically-treated felt is specially formulated to accept hot bitumen as a bonding adhesive, creating a roof system that has the tensile strength and elongation properties to withstand thermal shock. The inorganic felt is rot proof and will not wick or absorb moisture, minimizing the risk of ply delamination and creating a stronger, more secure roof assembly.
