StressPly® IV

StressPly® IV is a high strength, fiberglass scrim reinforced, rubber-modified membrane designed to be used in torching applications. This 180-mil membrane offers high strength along with the benefits of a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) rubber compound, including superior low temperature flexibility and elongation. StressPly® IV can be used as the torchable top layer of asphalt applied modified bitumen roof or as part of a two-ply torch applied modified roofing system. This sheet is available in a smooth or mineral surface. Please contact your local Garland representative for application guidelines.




System Features

• Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified to provide UV resistance, heat resistance, elongation and low temperature flexibility.
• Fiberglass scrim provides resistance to splits and tears caused by movement in the building.
• Can be used in conjunction with other HPR^SM underlayments, conventional fiberglass felts or glass base sheets in a multi-ply construction or as a two ply torch applied modified system.
• Eliminates the need for kettles in areas where fumes may be of concern.
• Provides a time tested reliable roofing system.
• Smooth membranes use post industrial coal slag as surfacing.
