StressPly® E
Strength, elongation and UV resistance characteristics are vital to extending the life of a roof system. StressPly® E stands up to the elements with a design that is unique to the industry. This advanced membrane features a unique high strength fiberglass and polyester scrim that provides the ability to conform during installation, exceptional tensile strength and outstanding tear strength. The compound in StressPly® E utilizes a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene + Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene (SBS+SIS) rubberized asphalt blend that offers superior low-temperature flexibility, elongation, excellent UV resistance and thermal stability. The combination of these materials results in a modified membrane that accommodates structural movement, thermal movement, UV light and other stresses, thereby optimizing life cycle benefits. StressPly® E membranes come in a smooth, mineral-surfaced, or fire-retardant formulation to achieve specific performance requirements. Please contact your local Garland Representative for application guidelines.
