StressPly Plus
The eco-friendly StressPly Plus membrane is the industry’s most environmentally responsible modified bitumen roofing solution. This high-strength, UV resistant, SBS-polymer-modified roof membrane constitutes the waterproofing and reinforcement layer of a modified built-up roof system. It incorporates post-consumer tires and glass, as well as post-industrial boiler slag, in its construction, contributing valuable points to LEED Buildings® performance. When coated with a highly reflective ENERGY STAR® qualified Garland coating, the StressPly Plus system helps reduce roof surface temperatures, further contributing to LEED Buildings performance by effectively conserving energy.
These innovative Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) polymer-modified membranes are reinforced with a fiberglass/polyester scrim that is designed to resist the movement created by today’s modern buildings. StressPly Plus roof systems combine the proven performance and benefits of multi-ply protection with the strength, flexibility, and elongation characteristics of elastomeric systems.
