The CRRC is an independent, non-profit organization that maintains a third-party rating system for radiative properties of roof surfacing materials. It was created in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance of roofing products, the CRRC provides product rating information code bodies, architects, building owners and specifiers can rely on.
