VersiPly

VersiPly is a high strength, puncture and fatigue resistant, rubber modified roofing membrane used as the primary waterproofing component of a modified built-up roof system. Consisting of two layers of fiberglass scrim sandwiched by a Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) rubber asphalt mixture, the VersiPly membrane provides exceptional tensile strength, low temperature flexibility and elongation. This membrane comes in various thickness (40, 60, 80 or 135 mil) and has smooth or mineral surfaced sheet to achieve specific performance requirements. All VersiPly products offer a cost-effective alternative for applications prone to thermal-related expansion and contraction. System Features

• Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) modified to provide UV resistance, heat resistance, elongation and low temperature flexibility.
• Fiberglass scrim provides resistance to splits and tears caused by movement in the building.
• Can be used in conjunction with other HPR^SM underlayments, as well as conventional fiberglass felts or glass base sheets in a multi-ply construction.
  
• Can be specified using hot asphalt (40, 60, 80, or Mineral) or Garland’s cold process adhesive "Weatherking" (80 or mineral).
• Provides fire resistance with the use of mineral underlayments.
• Provides a time tested reliable roofing system.
• Smooth membranes use post industrial coal slag as surfacing.
