Participants will gain an understanding of the functional performance-based characteristics of a FEMA-rated roof assembly. The various types of wind related catastrophes will be discussed. Shelter design requirements as outlined by FEMA 361 and ICC 500 will be discussed. Testing standards for high-performance roofing systems will be reviewed along with successful assembly installation photos.
