Ultra-Shield Torch Base is a nominal 110 mil (2.8 mm) SBS torch-applied membrane formulated as the Base Ply layer in a torch-applied roofing system. It has a burnable polypropylene backer, which melts when the torch generates sufficient heat. Ultra-Shield Torch Base is used as the Base Ply layer for torch-applied roofing systems. It is fully compatible with SBS torch-applied membranes.
