Pro-Stop FR is a water-based, non-corrosive intumescent primer used on the wood components of Garland roof assemblies. When applied to flammable substrates and then exposed to high temperatures and flame, the primer swells up and creates a char barrier helping to prevent the further spread of the fire and smoke. Pro-Stop FR is also a non-prescriptive thermal barrier, providing a Class III Vapor Retardancy.
