KEE-Stone Utility Roll Roof Membrane

  • Unique Formulation
  • Permanent Flexibility
  • Chemical Resistance

KEE-Stone Utility Roll is a 60-mil, six-inch wide, unreinforced thermoplastic membrane enhanced with DuPontTM Elvaloy® HP. This unique Ketone Ethylene Ester (KEE) formula creates a material with superior flexibility without sacrificing tensile strength or tear resistance. The backside of the roll is smooth for easy heat welding installation to the KEE-Stone FB 60 Flashing membrane or for field detailing of penetrations. KEE-Stone Utility Roll is designed as the stripping ply to cover a seam in the KEE-Stone FB 60 Flashing system and KEE-Stone FB 60 membrane system. It can also be used to field wrap unusual penetrations where a pre-molded accessory will not work.

Features

Unique Formulation

The KEE-Stone thermoplastic compound contains at least 50% DuPont Elvaloy HP, creating a membrane with superior long-term weatherability. KEE-Stone’s unique KEE and Elvaloy HP formula enhances the performance of standard PVC by making it permanently flexible and locking in the oils to prevent the material from drying out and cracking.

Permanent Flexibility

KEE-Stone’s unique KEE compound provides remarkable elongation and unmatched low-temperature flexibility in warm and cold climates. Maintaining low-temperature flexibility down to -40°F (-40°C), KEE-Stone Utility Roll can withstand even the harshest stresses associated with thermal shock and adjust to those stresses without cracking, splitting, or crazing.

Chemical Resistance

The strength of the KEE-Stone formula provides extensive chemical resistance properties even in the presence of common rooftop culprits like animal fats, acids, oils, greases, etc.
